Updated 03/04/2020
35 St Giles Undercroft – NUMBER 35 ST GILES STREET (ZELLEYS)
The building above the undercroft is currently in use as a jewellers shop and dates from the eighteenth century. The undercroft itself dates from the fifteenth century and is of brick construction.

It consists of two irregular bays at right-angles to the street line with single-order diagonal ribs with additional radiating ribs to accommodate door and window openings.
There are wall arches and lighting niches in the south bay.
The undercroft is not normally open to the public, but can be visited on Heritage Open days (in early September) on pre-bookable tours.
